Pre-stressed foam is used in our bedding to create comfort layers that are significantly more durable than those made from standard foams. “Pre-stressing” involves compressing foam to increase its comfort level and longevity. By pre-stressing foam, we minimize any change in feel or compacting of the foam that might occur in the future.
